For nursing care services, the stated price is the amount payable (net = gross). No VAT is charged. VAT may apply to goods and other services.

Important Information on Billing

• a The time required for an initial assessment depends on the individual care situation as well as the number, type and complexity of the wounds.
• b The short initial assessment includes a general assessment of the wound situation, without wound care, additional therapies or other services.
• c The comprehensive initial assessment includes, among other things, a detailed assessment of the wound situation including wound photography and documentation, preparation of a report if required, wound care including removal of the old dressing, thorough cleansing, application of a new dressing, additional therapies depending on indication, digital ordering of the required dressing materials and preparation of a treatment plan.
• d The number and frequency of treatments following the initial assessment of a wound depend on the individual healing process. At the beginning, approximately two treatments per week are required in many cases. If the wound progresses well, the intervals between treatments may be extended.
• e The material fee is charged per treatment and covers consumable materials that are not covered by health insurance.
• f In addition, recommended products may be required depending on individual needs (e.g. nutritional supplements, skin care products or other products that support wound healing). These are not included in the treatment price and will only be recommended or purchased with your consent.
• g Travel costs are calculated based on the distance between WundPal's business location (2013 Göllersdorf) and the service address. The kilometres shown in Google Maps for the route with the shortest travel time are used as the basis for calculation. This calculation method applies uniformly to all clients.
• i Additional therapies (e.g. cold plasma or laser therapy) are only carried out where medically indicated and after prior consultation.
• j Cold plasma therapy is a wound-healing treatment and is described in more detail in the "Knowhow" section.
• k Low-level laser therapy is a wound-healing treatment and is described in more detail in the "Knowhow" section.
• l Consultation services are only charged when they are provided as a separate service (e.g. training for relatives or detailed consultation).
• m Telephone or digital enquiries relating to ongoing treatment are free of charge. This applies to brief nursing-related questions between agreed treatment appointments.
• n Treatments on Sundays and public holidays are possible by prior agreement. The Sunday and public holiday surcharge stated in the price list applies to these appointments.
• o Additional products to support wound healing may be recommended depending on individual needs. These are not included in the treatment price and will only be purchased following prior consultation and with your consent.
• p Complete wound documentation includes all wound documentation created during the treatment period and is intended in particular for submission to health insurance providers or other payers. Digital provision is free of charge; the one-time fee stated in the price list applies to the paper version.
• q The amount of any possible reimbursement depends on the regulations of the respective health insurance provider and cannot be influenced by WundPal. However, submitting the required documents completely and correctly plays an important role. WundPal will be happy to support you with this.
• The invoice amount consists of several items depending on the services actually provided. Not every invoice will contain all of the service components listed above.
